Oral presentations and posters must address one of the following topics:

​

• Experiences, protocols and techniques for the removal, transport, collection and management of biomass.

• Management of biomass derived from fishing activities and deposited on beaches.

• Legal and administrative aspects of biomass management.

• Monitoring of invasions and strandings.

• Governance and coordination in the management of the species.

• Potential uses and exploitation.

• Economic and ecological impacts of biomass.

PRESENTATIONS

​

The abstract of the presentations must be written in Spanish or English and sent in a Word file using the template found on this website (maximum 250 words, not including title, authors and affiliations). Abstracts for each oral presentation or poster must be sent in separate files named as follows: ‘Surname_oral’ or ‘Surname_poster’. The conference organisers will assign the paper to the session that best fits its theme and will inform the authors of the date and time of their presentation. Oral presentations will last 10 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes reserved for questions. We will try to accommodate all requests for oral presentations in the programme, but if this is not possible, the author will be informed in advance that their presentation will have to be in poster format. Posters must be 150 cm high and 75 cm wide. Each registered author may present one oral presentation and one poster, or two posters. The necessary materials for attaching the posters to the display stands will be provided.
